Want to learn to spin wool but have no experience whatsoever? At our 1.5 hour in-studio workshop, you can learn the basics of spinning on a wooden drop spindle and get started on a whole new hobby.
Workshop attendees will learn the basics of spindle spinning, and take home the yarn they spin. In addition to this, attendees will take home their own drop spindle and their choice of Shetland roving braid all in a Wheel of Fate tote so they can keep up the craft afterward!
Workshops usually run three times a week, but we can add further workshops by special request, for groups of no more than 4.

Our new location is conveniently located near the top of Leith Walk. It is very easy to reach by tram or bus, as we are right off the MacDonald Road tram stop and a 2 minute walk from the Elm Row bus stop. We are also a 14-minute walk from Waverley Train Station.
Please note, the property is an upper ground floor property, meaning there are 5 steps up to enter the building, with railings on either side for assistance. We are currently exploring accessibility options, but have no chair lift as of yet. If you would like a hand bringing a buggy or other device up the stairs, just call +7831560135 and someone in the shop will come and help you.
